Michael Ferro

I’m currently based in Los Angeles, studying economics at Chapman. Previously, I worked on growing TBPN and, before that, on investments and research for a family office. I’m now spending my time exploring a handful of ideas with people I admire.

I’m optimistic that abundant intelligence will expand what we are able to pursue, while making the distinctly human qualities (e.g., judgment, taste, desire, and conviction) more valuable.

I try to read widely, but lately I’ve been enjoying hospitality, biographies, histories of financial institutions, and old issues of Fortune. I occasionally post notes, excerpts, and other things I find interesting on X.
